Elephantech Chosen as “Innovation Showcase” at the “2023 Japan – U.S. Innovation Awards”

Elephantech has been chosen as one of the 5 Japanese startup companies to participate in the prestigious “Innovation Showcase” at the “2023 Japan-U.S. Innovation Awards.”
This recognition highlights Elephantech’s new technologies and innovative business ideas that have the potential for a significant global impact.

“The Japan-U.S. Innovation Awards” is an initiative co-organized by the Japan Society of Northern California and Stanford University US-Asia Technology Management Center, aimed at fostering collaboration between Japan and the United States while promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.

Globally recognized companies such as Dropbox, Mercari, Preferred Networks, and Tesla, which have been previous award recipients, have achieved remarkable success in the global market after receiving the award.

Elephantech was selected for the “Innovation Showcase” from a pool of over 100 companies. The selection process involved rigorous review, discussion, and voting from esteemed members of the Innovation Advisory Council, which comprises venture investors, entrepreneurs, executives, and academic experts from both Japan and the United States.

As the reasons for our selection:

Elephantech, the first mass-producer of inkjet-printed circuit boards, has developed a process that makes major reductions in CO2 emissions and water consumption. Selection for the Innovation Showcase recognizes this startup’s potential to make major contributions to sustainability in this manufacturing industry.

Shinya Shimizu, Elephantech’s co-founder, CEO, and CTO, will speak at the “Innovation Showcase Presentation” (Thursday, July 20, 2023, 11:10 AM – 12:00 PM, PST) during the “2023 Japan-U.S. Innovation Awards Symposium.”
