Stop Etching,
Just Print.

Decarbonizing the electronics industry through inkjet printing technology that helps manufacturers cut costs, processes, and their environmental footprint.

Transforming the electronics industry through additive manufacturing

The conventional printed circuit board (PCB) production process involves covering the entire substrate in copper foil and then etching off the surplus to create wiring, a method that has long been recognized as problematic due to significant resource waste and hazardous byproducts.

A form of subtractive manufacturing, these conventional processes use three to four times the necessary amount of copper and generate acidic copper wastewater that requires treatment. PCBs manufactured using these methods therefore carry a significant environmental footprint—for example, approximately half of a smartphone's carbon footprint can be attributed to its printed circuit board.

PCBs are an indispensable component in all electronics and our goal is to use additive manufacturing to revolutionize the way they are produced to contribute to a net zero electronic components industry.

Decarbonizing printed circuit boards for a net-zero electronics industry.

SustainaCircuits are our unique PCBs made using additive manufacturing. They are printed circuit boards in the truest sense of the word—made using proprietary metal inkjet printing technology that prints copper on only the sections needed for wiring. SustainaCircuits therefore use 70% less copper and produce no copper-containing wastewater, resulting in a dramatically lower environmental footprint while retaining the same product quality as conventional PCBs.
