Elephantech Ships First DK100 Manufacturing System for Next-Generation AI Server PCBs Overseas Shipment Within Five Months of Technology Debut for On-Site Installation
Elephantech Inc. (Shinya Shimizu, CEO, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) today made the first overseas shipment of its DK100 inkjet printing system to a PCB manufacturer. The equipment supports DeepVia™ HDI, the company’s high-aspect-ratio microvia metallization solution for AI server boards.
Elephantech announced the development of DeepVia™ HDI on April 24, 2026, approximately five months before the first shipment to an overseas customer. It marks the first step toward integrating DK100 into the customer’s manufacturing line for mass production of AI server boards intended for a leading North American chipmaker.
Continuous advancements of AI hardware are driving demand for high-end PCBs that support high-speed signal transmission and high-density interconnects. Achieving these capabilities requires increasingly intricate architectural features, while reliable metallization of high-aspect-ratio microvias remains a technical challenge. DeepVia™ HDI addresses the challenge by combining Elephantech’s proprietary copper nanoink with precision inkjet printing to enable metallization of microvias with aspect ratios of 2.0 and above. The breakthrough helps ease design constraints for PCB interconnections, enabling greater routing flexibility and improvements in AI server performance.
